The courts are open to members all day everyday.

There are four Club Sessions where members can come along and play ‘mix in’ doubles with the other members present.

These sessions are:

• Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm to around 5pm
• Sunday mornings from 10am to 1pm
• Tuesdays and Thursday from 1.30pm in the winter
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30pm in summer

The courts are available for members and their guests to use at all other times.

The fees for guests are £1 during the week and £3 at weekends. Please pay a committee member.

Whilst standard of dress is fairly relaxed, recognised sports wear is preferred and proper tennis shoes ie no black soles are a must.

Although members must provide their own balls they can be bought at the reduced rate of £5 for a can of four from various committee members.

As there are just 3 courts members can only book a court during the Annual Tournament weeks and of course 2 of the courts are taken when a league match is being played. These events take priority. A booking is made by a member writing their name and time of play on the calender inside the tennis hut.

Whilst the situation rarely arises, if ever all three courts are busy and other members are waiting to play, players must vacate the court 45 mns (doubles) or 30mns (singles) after the beginning of their game.
