The one-off joining fee is £20.50 and then the annual subscription is currently £120 running from October to September each year. Anyone joining part way through the subscription year, pays a reduced sub in Year 1, pro-rated by the months outstanding to the year end.

Members get into the court block with a swipe card and there is also a key for the changing rooms and showers.

The court lights operate with tokens. Each token provides lighting for 40 minutes and cost £4.00 for social and league games alike – there is a “warm-up” lights facility so you get the most from your game. The tokens are paid for over the bar, during opening hours. A simple wallchart inside the court allows you to book specific times, but this is often not necessary.

We run a simple internal league system, more sociable than serious, operating on a calendar month basis. The winner of each league gets promoted and the unfortunate loser demoted!

We have a weekly club night to which anyone can turn up and pay to play – for anyone wanting to come along and try us out. Some evenings there may be as few as 4-6 regulars so you generally get a few games against mixed competition.
